Husband and wife team, Gary and Kathy Wheatley, started their company in 1980. Combining their diverse talents, they worked together to build a company that is not only respected and well-liked by its clients but also its peers. Les Cunningham, CR, CGR, and past president of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) called them “one of the best teams in the industry”. In fact in 1992, Wheatley Associates was named one of the “Top 50” Remodelers in the nation by industry leader REMODELING Magazine, and was one of only three winning for “Teamwork.”

Gary was an exceptional carpenter, advancing his way through the construction field working with a local custom homebuilder in the late 1970’s. Kathy attended college earning a degree in Business Administration/Accounting. This created balance within the company and was the key to its early success.

Today, nearly 30 years later, the company has grown in size, but the core values remain intact.
