Since 1980 Wheatley Associates has successfully completed several thousand residential remodeling projects ranging from a few hundred dollars to $1.6 million dollars. Projects include Design + Build additions, additions developed by independent architects, kitchens, baths, garages, garage conversions, lower level conversions, master suite additions, whole house renovations, historic renovations, windows, doors, outdoor living spaces and just about any residential remodeling service.

Utilizing a team of professionals including a licensed architect (AIA), licensed interior designer, certified kitchen and bath planner (CKBP), certified cabinet space planner and a registered landscape architect (RLA), clients are assured the design phase is fully reviewed with the best decisions made to move forward.

The warranty offered exceeds that dictated by Maryland law: two years on all material and labor and five years on major structural elements. (Manufacturer’s warranties apply). The office is staffed from 7:00 am till 4:00 pm, and an emergency number offers access to us for more extended periods. Several field staff are certified by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), undergoing extensive training and education.

As the only female-managed remodeler in the Baltimore area, Kathy Wheatley brings the perspective of a wife and mother to the table. She has implemented the “woman’s touch” to many aspects of the remodeling process to provide a less stressful experience for Wheatley clients and their families.

Wheatley Associates offers design+remodel services. This process combines our extensive experience and expertise in construction with the talents and skills of other team professionals: a licensed architect (AIA), a certified interior designer (CSID), a certified kitchen and bath planner (CKBP), a certified cabinet space planner and a registered landscape architect (RLA). A teaming of professionals upfront produces the best finished project.

These services are available at our clients' discretion for as much input as they deem necessary.

home disaster restoration

In 2004 a Disaster Restoration Division was formed to offer services to homeowners and commercial building owners who have suffered a casualty (i.e. fire, flood, tree damage, leaks, hurricanes, etc.).

Working together with client’s insurance company, the goal is to restore the spaces back to their condition prior to the casualty as quickly as possible.

With a former adjuster on staff, the experience with this type of work is unmatched in the area by any other Insurance Restoration company.

When disaster strikes you need an expert. We can do the miraculous after a fire or other damage. We will work with your insurance company from start to finish.

home care & repair

Recognizing the shortage in the marketplace of contractors willing to perform smaller repairs, Wheatley formed a Home Care & Repair Services Division in 2007.

This service is perfect for the homeowner who is too busy or is unable to perform the needed repairs.

Also, perfect for widows, who are alone, but know they can trust the name Wheatley.

Generally these repairs are done on an hourly basis with some "guess-estimate" of time provided, so cost surprises are limited.
